The Social Impacts of the ICT has been changed in several ways. It has been changed on local communities of ICT. Nowadays people can speak to each other on face to face using the webcam which is inputted to the computer. Webcam captures your face on the computer and the other user can see your face as well. The webcam is a video camera. The webcam is connected to the computer with USB cable. You can talk face to face on social sites such as the Skype, MSN and Face book.

Also you can shop online which is called Ecommerce. This has also changed the IT. It is better for the people and the community to shop online on the PC rather than going to the shop and shopping there. Also when the shop is closed still the ecommerce is used. This is how the IT has been changed with the Ecommerce.

There are legal impacts on the ICT. The Legal impacts are copyright, plagriasm, and ownership. Nowadays people can get copyright images on the Internet. Also people can get copyright videos and upload it on their YouTube account. You can also do plagriasm on the computer which is banned. But still there is a technology for the school or college which can find out the plagriasm of the work.

How these social impacts affect people’s lives?

The social impact affects the people’s lives. Nowadays people can talk face to face each other on webcam instead of visiting their home. Also they can chat free on webcam with their family and friends abroad. When they call abroad it costs them money to call so they can speak to their family free on the webcam. They can also chat anywhere they want which is very comfortable for them. They can stay in touch with their family and friends without forgetting them when they speak with them on webcam face to face. This is how it affected people’s lives on communication social impacts.

The ecommerce has affected young people’s lives because they can shop online. They don’t have to go all the way to any stores. They can comfortably use their PC and shop online. Also they can shop online at anytime and anywhere. Some shops are closed then they can still shop online. Shopping online saves their time because they don’t have to walk and drive to the shop to buy something. The ecommerce is very comfortable for the young people. This is how it affected people on shopping online.
